I just love this Fort Worth family.  I met Christie at the Fort Worth Boat Club and I am so honored that she loved my work enough to choose me to capture this wonderful time in her family's lives.  My favorite thing (besides that sweet baby) was how thrilled Christie was with her wall portrait and gift prints when I delivered them.  She also told me how much fun they've had with me through the whole process.  I couldn't ask for a better compliment!

I really enjoyed working with this senior and her grandmother.  Miranda's spunky personality comes through in these portraits.  Kathy now has a gorgeous framed portrait of her grand daughter to celebrate and be proud of everyday.  #lovemyclients #theygetit #cherishwhatmattersmost

We finally made time to do our mother & daughter portrait.  As much as I loved the candid of us I just couldn't see my future generations hanging it on their wall or putting it on a bookcase.  Why do I want them to display it in their home?  Because I'm going to invest a lot of time and wisdom into them just like my mom and her mom did for me and I want them to have a daily reminder of those crazy ladies with all the unsolicited advice ;)  And I want them to be reminded that family relationships are important to us.  I showed it to my son and said "see the picture your kids will be happy to have one day?".  Actually, I think he will probably be glad to have ...

Music to my ears..

This Granbury High School 2017 senior has some pretty proud parents.  We had a good time during his session.  After capturing some delightful customary dress shirt portraits he broke out the uniform and trumpet and proceeded to bless us with some of the most recognizable sounds one ever hears from that brass horn.  Next, things got a little "rocky" as we headed off to more rugged terrain and captured an edgier side of Dustin.  His dad was a good sport and even got in some of the pictures.  I thought we got some great results!

This mom and daughter duo remind me a lot of my mom and I.  We both run businesses together and we're both close and we both look like each other.  This classic black and white version of their portrait is similar to what I'm wanting to get of my mother and I.  Stay tuned for ours...  And by the way this is Kassie Hooser with her mom. They own and operate Gym Kats in Granbury.  Their business is booming!  Check them out here gymkatsportscenter.com  #heirloomqualityportraits
