Wholesome Beauty -2018 Senior

I just love how wholesome this girl looks in these.  She is as precious, sweet and beautiful as her mom Michelle was when she and I were seniors in high school together!

Wholesome Beauty -2018 Senior

Kelsey and her mom have been so patient with me getting these up.  I love those two!  But WOW oh WOW look at this girl!  Narrowing down to my favorites was excruciating.  So thrilled to have had the opportunity to photograph her again.

Sydney was a great subject!  I've always wanted to photograph in a field of sunflowers and I passed the perfect one the other day so I asked Sydney to model for me.  She had to work in the evening of the day I could do it so I decided to go ahead and schedule the shoot during the heat of the day.  She was a great sport and I'm glad we did because photographing in full sun made the sunflower colors so rich and vibrant. We got a ton of great shots but these are three of my favorites.  I love the intense look she has in one of these.  She's such a natural beauty.  #sunflowers #2018seniors #seniorpics

I really love these.  Taylor is just gorgeous!  She can pull off a dramatic black and white just as well as the contemporary soft sun kissed flare.  This girl has a classic look about her!

This was a really fun experience for me.  Belinda, her husband Monty and Belinda's parents were all such a joy to work with.  The real star of the show was Pokey though.  This 23 year old horse is no less than a family member.  It always amazes me how much there is to know about any one subject.  I learned a lot of new things about horses and the relationships their owners have with them.  Monty shared with me that when they built their current home it was important for Belinda to be able to look out and see Pokey from just about any room in the house.  This portrait of her kissing him isn't the one they chose for their 36 inch wall portrait because ...
