A New Title for a New Year...

I really love these.  Taylor is just gorgeous!  She can pull off a dramatic black and white just as well as the contemporary soft sun kissed flare.  This girl has a classic look about her!

A New Title for a New Year...

This was a really fun experience for me.  Belinda, her husband Monty and Belinda's parents were all such a joy to work with.  The real star of the show was Pokey though.  This 23 year old horse is no less than a family member.  It always amazes me how much there is to know about any one subject.  I learned a lot of new things about horses and the relationships their owners have with them.  Monty shared with me that when they built their current home it was important for Belinda to be able to look out and see Pokey from just about any room in the house.  This portrait of her kissing him isn't the one they chose for their 36 inch wall portrait because ...

A New Title for a New Year...

I just love this Fort Worth family.  I met Christie at the Fort Worth Boat Club and I am so honored that she loved my work enough to choose me to capture this wonderful time in her family's lives.  My favorite thing (besides that sweet baby) was how thrilled Christie was with her wall portrait and gift prints when I delivered them.  She also told me how much fun they've had with me through the whole process.  I couldn't ask for a better compliment!

A New Title for a New Year...

I really enjoyed working with this senior and her grandmother.  Miranda's spunky personality comes through in these portraits.  Kathy now has a gorgeous framed portrait of her grand daughter to celebrate and be proud of everyday.  #lovemyclients #theygetit #cherishwhatmattersmost

A New Title for a New Year...

We finally made time to do our mother & daughter portrait.  As much as I loved the candid of us I just couldn't see my future generations hanging it on their wall or putting it on a bookcase.  Why do I want them to display it in their home?  Because I'm going to invest a lot of time and wisdom into them just like my mom and her mom did for me and I want them to have a daily reminder of those crazy ladies with all the unsolicited advice ;)  And I want them to be reminded that family relationships are important to us.  I showed it to my son and said "see the picture your kids will be happy to have one day?".  Actually, I think he will probably be glad to have ...
